Boat International Design & Innovation Awards 2026

We are humbled to share that our Impetus 11.5m Open Tender was awarded “Open Tender of the Year”, at the Boat International Design & Innovation Awards 2026.

The jury lauded the successful blend of design and function. “It’s a pretty masculine design, quite edgy, but extremely functional with multiple levels of service and very easy to board”.

Beyond the Impetus’s dynamic looks, the judges complimented the tender’s versatile functionality with ample deck space in this class. They praised the stern design, with the seamless integration of the transformer platform and also the available space to store dive tanks. “And you can make the platform the level of whatever dock you’re landing on stern-to, a first seen on a boat this size,” said a judge.

The jury also highlighted the hydraulically operated T-top, which enables the tender to be stowed on the mothership and has a removable glass roof so crew can operate from the console even when the T-top is in the lowered position. “And there is a dayhead, a rarity for a tender this size!” was another word of praise from the judges.

They summed it up:
”With features such as a convertible stern for diving, a removable glass roof and onboard dayhead, the Impetus proves that performance and refinement can go hand in hand.”
